Aici explicatia este conservarea momentului cinetic. Dupa ce este "air borne", vehiculul este un sistem independent.

Cu cat masina este mai mare, cu atat raportul (GreutateRoti) / (GreutateMasina) este mai mic, deci variatia momentului cinetic al rotilor are un impact mai redus asupra intregului sistem.
