revenind la diff-uri, azi am de gand sa montez un LSD de 2.65 pe masina, acum nu stiu cat am, dar e open, si o tine cam in ture afara (110 km/h 3000 RPM). Pai e absolut normal, asta inseamna 6000 RPM la 220 km/h. S-ar putea ca diferenta fata de ce ai acum sa fie foarte mare cu diff-ul de 2.65 (care vine probabil de pe un 525tds - esti sigur ca se potriveste?). Din cate vad, la 520i M20 standard diff-ul e de 4.45, iar la cutie in treapta 4 ai raportul 1:1, iar in treapta 5 ai 0.8:1 (sper ca se intelege ce incerc sa explic). O sa ai mult de suferit la demaraj, in treapta 1 o sa atingi peste 80 km/h, in treapta 2 aproape 160 km/h, etc. Sa ma corecteze cineva daca gresesc... -------------------- |

Demarajul nu prezinta interes pentru mine, nu am dat scart cu masina asta niciodata, si nu am astfel de ganduri cu ea. Se apropie de o limuzina, si trebuie tratata ca atare.
Ajutati-ma va rog cu informatia legata de uleiul din LSD, unde gasesc asa ceva? Benzinarii, HyperMarketuri, firme specializate, reprezentante? Vreau sa-l montez diseara, si inca nu am uleiul sa-l pun inauntru (sa-l schimb adica). E normal ca M20B20 sa mearga turat pe E34, masina-i destul de grea. Demaraj mai poate insemna si altceva decat zero-suta in x secunde. De exemplu sa urci o panta abrupta cu viteza mica. Am problema asta cu td-ul meu (dif 3.15) care nu prea mai are cuplu decat sus in ture si abia reusesc sa ies din parcarea subterana de la serviciu. Iesirea de la -1 la parter e foarte abrupta, daca as avea viteza ar fi ok, dar mi-e ca o dau cu fundu' de pereti. Ce vreau sa spun: e posibil sa te trezesti in niste situatii in care motorul o sa fie pur si simplu neputincios din cauza diferentialului prea lung si o sa chinui rau ambreiajul. La TD-ul tau e diferenta si de cutie, ai alte rapoarte fata de benzinara M20B20. Cutia nu o schimb inca, am sa pun si cutie cand schimb motorul, intre timp schimb diff-ul mai mult ca un moft, intrucat mi-au suspendat permisul pentru 102 km/h in localitate, intre Turda si Cluj (nu stiam ca-s camere acolo, asta vara prin Iulie, era aproape 0:00 si ma grabeam putin sa ajung la Cj).
Voi vedea cum se comporta, oricum in vara vine si upgrade-ul de motor la 2.4 sau 2.5 TD(S). Deocamdata, in 2 zile masina va intra in hibernare la mine-n garaj, la casa parinteasca, pana imi reintru in drepturi. P.S- am rezolvat-o si cu uleiul, il cumpara mecanicul de la pro-motors (sau ceva de genul asta), am inteles ca e XX W 90 uleiul ( asa este? ). L. asta depinde de stilul fiecaruia de condus, de drumurile care le face, tot ce pot sa spun este ca vom vedea cum se simte masina cu acest diff.

Vorbeam de treapta I, cu a II-a n-am nici o sansa sa urc acolo cu viteza atat de mica. Inchipuie-ti ca aproape de fiecare data ajung sa patinez un pic la jumatatea urcusului (o mica denivelare or smth).
Dar asta nu-i singura situatie jenanta, de cate ori merg la tara la padure, intr-o zona sa zicem submontana, intampin greutati la manevre prin poienile suspendate in varful dealului ![]() Faceam o paralela cu tine ca-i aproximatix aceeasi situatie: mie mi-a scazut cuplul la acelasi diferential lung, din cauza uzurii motorului. Tie ti-ar ramane cuplu constant dar pui alt diferential, mult mai lung. Problemele apar la turatii mici, asa ca o sa abuzezi de ambreiaj, ca M20 are cuplu pe la 3-4000 parca. Daca pui TD sau TDS se schimba datele problemei. -------------------- Inline 6 in a 5-er 4 ever

Impresii dupa schimbarea diferentialului:
asteptate - masina e f lenesa in treptele 3,4,5 - daca e gheata pe jos, la plecare fuge putin spatele - iese mai bine din nameti - consumul extra-urban a scazut de la 11-12 la 8% neasteptate - la 2000 RPM in treapta 5 viteza este de 120 km/h (pe bord) - treapta 4 2000 RPM 90 km/h In diferential au intrat 1.5l ulei 80w90 Mobil, pret 55 lei (2l) -------------------- Cash only, no I will not trade + cash for your ETA, nor do I want any wheels, ex girlfriends, puppies, or sexual favors....well maybe but PM me about that one

MeHigh, e normal sa fie f. lenesa masina in treptele 3, 4 si 5, practic tu in tr. a 3-a (cred ca) ai aproximativ aceeasi turatie ca inainte cu treapta a 5-a ![]() E clar ca iti trebuie un TDS, alfel o sa folosesti 2 trepte in oras ![]() Pe 325i-ul meu am tot un LSD de 2.65 sau 2.56, in treapta a 5-a am cam 100km/h la 2000rrpm, ~140km/h la 3000rpm, ~180km/h la 4000rpm etc.. -------------------- E30 S50 turbo :D

Prima poza e facuta in treapta a 4-a.
A doua e intr-a 5-a. Da, a 3-a e ca a 5-a inainte aproape la turatie. E f interesant de condus masina in noua configuratie. Sunt curios cum merge pisica cu acest diferential, si cu motorul de 2.5 24V . Fiind mai usoara, si cu motor mai mare, nu o simti asa lenesa. Consumul cum e la tine, in treptele 4 si 5 afara? La mine sunt decalate cam cu o treapta doar, dupa 50km/h nu se mai simte asa mult diferenta (sa zic ca pierd 1" maxim 2" de la 50 la 200km/h)
