@robert - estimarea puterii la volanta se face destul de simplu: dupa ce motorul limiteaza se lasa masina pe liber si se masoara timpul in care se decelereaza rolele ...
@n3o - eu am facut zeci de masuratori - iar diferentela au fost cel putin neglijabile (1-2 cai, diferente care pot fi si din calitatea benzinei, temperatura aerului, etc ..)
apropo, un "tips" apropo de rezultatele pe dyno - vis a vis de cum se comporta doua masini pe strada - comparatia cai putere/ volanta nu face prea multi bani ... dar daca e sa compari cuplul la roata pe parcursul plajei de ture/ greutatea masinii - vorbim despre ce se cam intimpla pe stada smile.gif

si apropo de proiect in sine, n-am mai facut mare lucru .. adica masina e indentica ca la ultimul setup - din lipsa de fonduri si de timp ..
dar am facut saptamina trecuta citeva mii de km pe diverse tipuri de drumuri - si pt sa spun ca are un comportament excelent: accelerez pe compresor pana la viteza de "mars", dupa care o las pe aspirat: consum de cca 8.5-9.0%, incluzind bucati lungi de autostrada de mers cu peste 150kmh ..
ce i-as mai face in timp scurt si relativ "low budget", as mari raportul de fulii, sa fac presiune mai mare in ture joase, si sa scot compresorul pe la 4.500rpm - ca oricum nu depasesc turatia asta decit la liniute - unde masina nu e chiar spectaculoasa datorita greutatii mari, ca nu are LSD si nici gume potrivite ..

un alt punct de vedere e ca acelasi compresor a fost pus pe un E36 320i, motor 6l, 4v/cil, 2.200 cmc, 170CP - si a facut tot 0.5 bar la 5.500, unde masinaria face peste 230CP - sau altfel spus compresorul sufla suficient aer, chestia e sa nu ai restrictii prea mari in admisie, si motorul sa traga rapid aerul .. in situatia asta, daca ma gindesc sa tin motorul asta pe masina, ar trebui sa imbunatatesc circulatia aerului, iar admisia stock nu e chiar potrivita pentru asta : o multiclapeta + redesenarea traseelor de admisie in chiulasa ar fi solutia ok ..
pe de alta parte, M43TU are unul dintre cele mai nenorocite softuri de la bmw (de ex; ca nu iese din close loop la WOT) - si cum solutia propusa de robert (ECU stand alone) nu este rezonabila dpdv al pretului (cu 800-1000E cit face stand alone-ul pot sa gasesc un M44 ..) - stau serios in dubii daca sa mai pastrez motorul asta, sa sa incep sa caut un 16v sau chiar un 24v smile.gif..

extra-urban (inclusiv autostrada) - consumul este aproape nemodificat .. dar, practic nu folosesc compresorul nici 5% din timpul deplasarii;
urban: daca ma dau la ea si intru des in compresor - consumul sare rau de tot : 15-18%, dar daca merg linistit si merg mai mult pe asiprat, consuma tot ca inainte ..

se preteaza bine de tot sa supraalimentezi M42-le - dar la un nivel moderat (nu cred ca rezista peste 0.6bar in forma stock - si asta cu un intercooler klumea) - dar la nivelul asta ar trebui sa faca 220-230CP - ceea ce e cel putin decent .. pentru boost mai mare ar trebui redusa rata de compresie ..
daca nu te grabesti foarte tare - si eu reusesc sa fac praf M43TU-le in citeva luni - o sa ma apuc eu de supraalimentat un M42 ..

chiar ma gandeam sa cumpar un m42... tot ce vreau e sa stiu ce se intampla pe masina... adica sa am multe sonde si alea alea... si sa am laptop si sa vad ce e cu masina... si sa ziceam ca de la 140 de cai un maxim 180-200 de cai. mai mult nu....

Mai bine studiaza si vezi care-i treaba cu M44. Vezi care-i diferenta intre M42 si M44 ca din cate am inteles este o diferenta si la interfata, M44 fiind OBD II.
