mah nu stiu ce bestie e 318is pe urs.. eu am avut pisca tot 318 is si era super putoare.
in comparatie cu alte masini pe care le-am avut . nu numai ca e putoare dar si consuma cat porcu, da o tura cu a lu mikilol sa vezi. nu stiu ce dif avea a mea .. probabil ca daca ii puneam un 4.10 ar fi fost ceva mai vioaie. raman la parerea ca numai bmw-urile in 6 se comporta destul de bine (fara e30 m3) -------------------- A Mercedes fan, Audi owner on BMW forum

Tip motor: M42 B18 ( in 1995 au pus M44 B19 pe 318is) motorul de pe E30 318is, 16V, 2 axe cu came, 1796 cmc, 103 kW(140 CP)/ 6000 rpm, 175 Nm/ 4500 rpm, Bosch DME M1.7 Performante: 0-100 km/h - 10.2sec Vit max: 213 km/h Raporturi cutie: I -4.23:1 II.-2.52:1 III.-1.66:1 IV.-1.22:1 V.-1.00:1 Raport de compresie : 10:1 (e singurul motor 1.8 care are rap asta in afara de M3 care are 10.1:1âĶin rest incls. Eu am schimbat la a mea (toata distributia!!) si m-a costat 250euro piesele (luate de la Filaret) si 2mil manoperaâĶintinzatorul e doar 50 euro. 2. fluctuatii la ralanti se datoreaza exclusive regulatorului de aer care este plin de uleiâĶ( o sa explic in alt post dc se murdareste ala de ulei si nu mai gestioneaza bine debitul de aer ) e un defect de pr al motorului din fabrica. Remediul: n-are rost sa cumperi unu nou, intr-o luna va face la fel, tot ce trebuie sa faci este sa-l dai jos si sa-l curetziâĶva merge normalâĶdar operatia trebuie repetata periodic. 3. garniture capacului de culbutoriâĶpt fiecare incinta a bujiei exista o garnituraâĶin timp exista posibilitatea ca atunci cand scoti o bujie sa fie plina de uleiâĶnu sarii sa-i faci setu motorâĶhihiâĶintai schimba-i garniture de capac..se mai intampla sa nu mai etanseze cum trebuie si sa permita uleiului sa ajunga in incinta bujiei. Cam astea sunt pr majore ale unu 318isâĶ.inca o chestiune perfect normala este prezenta urmelor de ulei in zona clapelor de admisie care se datoreaza unui furtun care pleaca din capacul de culbutori si intra in aceea zona de admisieâĶcare produce vap de uleiâĶasa ca daca dai burduful jos de la debitmetru si gasesti urme de ulei in galerie e normalâĶmotorul e okâĶtrust meâĶacest furtun a fost scos de nemti pe M44 (dupa el iti dai seama ce motor e pe masina ) pt ca provoca probleme âĶ P.S.: Beck cand bagi piciorul in acc oricum consumul instantaneu creste si la 30%...pt cateva sec..e normalâĶiar daca te referi la âacea turaâ? de pe KiseleffâĶal meu ambreaj patina in draci atunci..o sa te mai dau o tura cand o sa fie ambreajuâ ok sa vedem cat de puturoasa mai e ![]() -------------------- BMW 318is E36 â I WAS BORN FREE, NOW IâM EXPENSIVE

ce mai zice si lumea pe net: BMW described the 318is as a GTI for grown-ups. It was low priced by BMW standards and offered luxury, sportiness, style and value. The 318is was released in Australia in 1990, right near the end line for the E30 series. As in other countries, it was available only as a 2 door sedan with a manual transmission. With traditional front engine and rear drive the little BMW is a joy to drive. The engine offers good performance with strong acceleration from 4000rpm to redline. The gear change is quick and precise. Handling is safe but sporting with minimal understeer and the steering offers good feel but is a little slow. Visibility to all corners of the car is excellent and parking is a breeze. The 318is introduced a new engine, the M42, which was based on the 1.8 litre M40 cast-iron block as used in the 318i. The M42 differed most importantly by having twin cams and four valves per cylinder. To reduce reciprocating mass lightweight internal components were used such as pistons and con rods. The M42 also boasts a forged steel crankshaft and runs a 10:1 compression ratio instead of the M40's 8.8:1. The M42 was touted as being a very low maintenance engine, courtesy of bucket-type tappets with hydraulic clearance adjustment and a dual-row timing chain (replacing the M40âs toothed belt). There fuel injected intake system has a two stage throttle assembly to facilitate smooth driving at slower speeds. The first throttle butterfly opens for slow cruising, but when you accelerate hard the second throttle opens to allow much more airflow. Ignition is by an individual coil for each cylinder and all electronics including fuel injection are overseen by the latest (at the time) Bosch DME system. The E30 318is had a short lifespan. It was discontinued when the E36 series was introduced in March 1991. An E36 318is arrived in 1992 and featured the same engine but with a variable length inlet tract. Further developments to the 318is line was a 1.9 litre engine, availability of the four door body, and the option of an automatic transmission. In Service The 318is has few common problems. The hydraulic lifters can become noisy with age and some specialists recommend an engine flush with each oil change to prevent this problem. For the home mechanic the 318is is quite easy to work on being front engine and rear drive. Am vrut si eu sa iau 318is e36 si am probat vreo 3 masini. La turatii moderate motorul nu lasa impresia ca ar fi teribil de sprinten. Abia pe la 4-5 mii de rpm se simte ceva. 318is sunt in general masini alergate, multe au fost luate de soferi care cautau senzatii tari la un pret mic, asa ca riscul ca masina sa fie deja obosita e ceva mai mare ca la alte modele. Tot cautand am dat de 323i si dupa cum am pus piciorul pe acceleratie, m-a facut sa uit de 318is. :cool: |

Jaffar,
Manualul meu zice ca la toate e36 cu catalizator trebuie benzina DIN EN 288, cifra octanica 95 (Euro Super). Motoarele au senzor de detonatie, deci merge si benzina de 91 (nu mi-e clar daca numai la alea fara catalizator sau si la alea cu). Performantele sunt calculate la benzina de 95. la 98 ar trebui sa creasca putin. |

jaffar, incearca sa uiti de motor in 4 pe BMW
nu stiu cum e 318is pe e 36 dar am mers cu un 318is e30 si chiar nu mi-a zis nimic(acum stii si tu ca e 36 are vreo 150kg mai mult ca un urs) daca vrei sa schimbi caruta, incearca si un 320 (e36) eventual cu vanos si o sa fi fff multumit, te asigur -------------------- "PUTEREA BATE CUPLU PT CA TOT TIMPUL VEI GASI O TREAPTA INFERIOARA UNDE SA O PUI"

Cei cu motoare de 6 cilindri spun ca motoarele de 4 cilindri sunt puturoase. Probabil ca au dreptate.
Cei cu motoare de 8 cilindri spun ca, desi motoarele de 6 cilindri sunt demne de luat in seama, totusi nu se compara cu cele de 8 cilindri. Probabil ca au si ei dreptate. Cei cu motoare de 12 cilindri nu pot decat sa zambeasca, privind la cei cu motoare de 4, 6 sau 8 cilindri. Sigur, au si ei dreptate. Cei care au motoare supra-alimentate spun ca ... Fiecare tip de BMW este destinat unui anumit target de clienti. In alegerea unui masini sunt multe alte criterii, in afara de performanta pura - altfel am merge toti motoare V12. Sigur ca, daca discutam despre putere bruta, un M42 nu prea are multe de spus in fata unui S62, de exemplu. Dar 140CP din numai 1.8 litri este o performanta remarcabila. M42 este un motor excelent, in clasa lui. Iar costurile de intretinere ale unui 318is sunt evident mai mici - iti raman deci mai multi bani pentru a merge cu masina (deci, pentru placerea de a conduce...) |

Dar 140CP din numai 1.8 litri este o performanta remarcabila. M42 este un motor excelent, in clasa lui. ok...time-out...aici e vb de un motor M42 si un model de bmw 318is...nu e vb de masina mea...sau a altuia...un M42 in mintzile lui pt cineva care vrea ceva light cu care sa si faca senzatie sau sa se plimbe fara sa consume mult, e perfect.
Beck pls nu mai fa trimitere la masina mea...nu e etalon pt M42..iar chestia asta i-am explicat-o si lui Jaffar...Cine cauta cai putere n-are decat sa-si ia M5...aici depinde ce vrei de la o masina, punct. Asa ca terminati cu comentarii stupide de genu frate e puturos sau consuma mult...chestii de genu asta...mai ales in necunostintza de cauza. Cred ca beck vrea sa spuna urmatoarele: intre motor de 140cp in patru cilindri si altul de 130-140 cp in 6 cilindri il aleg pe cel in 6. Daca nu, asta as vrea sa zic eu.

jaffar, vorbeam la cazul general, nu m-am referit la nici un tip de motor, nici M42 nici M20 nici M50. Doar la diferenta dintre 6 cilindri si 4 cilindri.

Am vrut sa-mi iau si eu un 318is coupe, cu piele bej, f misto. Mi-a placut f mult masina, dar motorul mi s-a parut slaaaab de tot (eu venind de pe 525i M50). Zicea mai de mult io's ca el nu-si mai ia in veci bmw in 4, mi s-a parut ca se abereaza, dar uite ca asa mi s-a intimplat si mie...
Oricum, mai mult conteaza nu ce motor e, ci cit de ingrijita si intretinuta e masina, parerea mea. Bafta |
