Daca tot ne imaginam ce masini o sa cumparam cu 20 sau 40.000 EUR eu va propun un alt joc de imaginatie: Ce BMW v-ati cumpara daca nu ar exista nici un fel de limita financiara ?
Cu alte cuvinte: care este modelul BMW construit pana la acest moment cel mai dorit ?

In 1936, BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) introduced the Type 328. The vehicle was stylish and aerodynamic. The design of the vehicle provided excellent handling and the inline-six cylinder engine produced excellent performance. The engine featured a cast iron block and dual overhead valves per cylinder bank. The total output was around 80 horsepower. The engine was placed in the front and provided power to the rear wheels. The body panels were constructed of a light-weight alloy.

As was sometimes the custom with many early European vehicles, the coachwork was handled by a custom coachbuilder. Examples exist where the famous Figoni et Falaschi Carrosserie of Paris, France outfitted the vehicle with exquisit designs.

During the close of the 1940's, Jaguar introduced the XK-120, a vehicle that was similar in design to the BMW Type 328.

printre multe altele, greu as alege intre un e38 si un 6er cu motor 3,5 turbo (modificat la maxim ..bineinteles :unibrow: )

Eu as alege un 850 csi si un m5 e39 daca chiar n-as avea probleme cu banii. Si probabil si un M5 E60, dar imi place mai mult cum arata E39.
Daca as avea bani fara limita probabil ca as avea cateva zeci de masini diferite...

The 507 shared the frame of the 503, shortened from 2835 mm (111.6 in) to 2479 mm (97.6 in). Overall length was 4835 mm (172.6 in), and overall height was a low 1257 mm (49.5 in). Curb weight was about 1,485 kg (2,835 lb). The body was hand-formed of aluminum, and no two models were exactly the same.

Front suspension was parallel double wishbones, with torsion bar springs and an anti-roll bar. Rear suspension had a live axle, also sprung by torsion bars, and located by a Panhard rod and a central, transverse A-arm to control acceleration and braking forces. Brakes were Alfin drum brakes of 284.5 mm (11.2 in) diameter, and power brakes were optional. Late-model 507s had front disc brakes.

The engine was the aluminum alloy BMW OHV V-8, of 3.2 L (195.8 in³) displacement, with pushrod-operated overhead valves. It had two Solex Zenith 32NDIX two-barrel carburetors. It rated 150 hp (111.9 kW) DIN, with 160 hp (119.4 kW) optional. It was mated to a four-speed manual transmission with various rear-end ratios optional. It was capable of 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in about 10 seconds, with a top speed of about 125 mph (200 km/h) depending on gearing.
