Masina consuma intre schimburi cam ~1 L la 10.000 KM. Problema a inceput acum 2 luni cand s-a aprins becul de ulei. Am scos joja si era uscata, motiv pentru care am completat un L, considerand ca este o anomalie... sau cine stie ce. Intre timp am mai facut o mie de KM si cand am verificat e din nou pe minim. Asadar in ultimii ~2.000 KM am pus 2 L de ulei si sunt pe minim! sad.gif(((
Masina trage PERFECT (ca in prima zi), nu scoate nici un fel de fum, nu are pete sub ea si pot spune ca merge impecabil! SI TOTUSI ULEIUL DISPARE MISTERIOS.

M-am progr la Filaret sambata! sad.gif

A mai patit cineva asa ceva??

PS: Am observat ca il mananca MULT mai repede daca fac drumuri lungi (in regim de autostrada)

Eu am avut o problema asemanatoare. S-a rezolvat prin schimbarea unui fel de "dop" ( "dopul" se afla pe modina, piesa care face legatura intre filtrul de ulei si blocul motor).
Masina pierdea ulei numai in mers, pe loc nu pierdea.

1L la o mie de km este un consum ft mare si ar trebui sa se vada fum la teava, eu cred ca este altceva , o pierdere ceva, inspecteaza bine masina pe dedesubt

ce ulei folosesti? daca nu sunt pierderi incearca sa faci schimbul de ulei dar cu alt tip (marca) de ulei


edit: asteptam totusi daca elucidezi/rezolvi cauza sa ne spui si noua

5W30 sau 0W40 e OEM. Sper sa nu fie ceva din interiorul motorului. Nu as vrea sa se umble in motor!

La mine sunt excluse probleme de uzura. Masina are doar 83.000 km. Deci motorul e aproape nou! Niste valve/furtune interne sau externe au cedat. Daca nu-s externe am ghinion rau! sad.gif

verifica epuratorul de gaze sau spune-le la cei de la filaret ca daca ala s-a infundat se face presiune in capac si forteaza semeringurile de supapa.

Uleiul nu dispare pur si simplu... Ori curge la exterior, in stationare sau in mers cand e sub presiune, ori in lichidul de racire (antigelul devine unsuros si isi schimba culoarea), ori ajunge in camera de ardere si atunci ar trebui sa se vada in fum... Daca masina e aspirata (nu stiu ce masina ai) ar trebui sa fie mai simplu de depistat, neavand turbo sau intercooler.
Repet...daca uleiul se scurge la exterior, imposibil sa nu se vada uns motorul undeva, respectiv picaturi de ulei lasate in parcare...
Daca e problema la interior e mai nasol sad.gif N-ar fi de dorit sa-ti desfaca motorul...

Consumă 1 litru la mie sau 1 litru la 10 000 km?

Dacă ia un litru la 10 000 km, consumul de ulei este normal, mai ales dacă ai un stil de conducere sportiv.

1 litru la mie este un consum un pic mai mare, verifică dacă nu există pierderi de ulei.

Typically if you have high oil consumption on that particular car its usually because of a crankcase vent valve being stopped up. Its not a terribly expensive part, but it is labor intensive. Its located under the intake manifold and connects to the intake manifold, valve cover and the oil pan. It basically separates oil from the vapor in the upper engine and returns the oil to the oil pan. If it gets stopped up, then oil vapors will get drawn into your intake and your motor will burn it (slowly but consistently)

They are very common to go bad every 60 to 80K miles. Also, if you have it replaced, there are several hoses that should be replaced with it (4 total I believe) I'd recommend having an experienced BMW tech perform the repair.

Do you notice if the car idles rough at all? That is usually a sign of a vent valve failure also, since a vacuum leak is usually created by a bad valve. Eventually a check engine light results with lean mixture faults. Also, some oil usually leaks out of the bottom of the valve where the drain hose has deteriorated.

Question - My 2002 325i seems to burn about 2-3 quarts of oil between oil changes. I change my oil between 5-6k miles and I am worried about how much oil it is consuming. What could this be?

Answer - Your car does burn a small amount of oil between oil changes. But the amount your car is using up is excessive. It sounds like you have a clogged crankcase ventilation valve or hose. This is a common failure point on the M52 and M54 motors. Most of the time the reason these do get clogged up is due to the oil change intervals BMW recommend which can give the valve a quicker build up then normal. The way to fix this issue is to change the valve and the hoses too. The hoses ten to get dry and crack so it's good to do all of them at the same time.

When doing this repair here are some items to change while your there.

Intake Manifold Gaskets
Fuel Injector seals (top and bottom)
Oil Separator Valve
Oil dipstick o-ring
All the hoses connected to the Valve

Si inainte sa o schimbati, nu pierdeati ulei? Erau semne vizibile? Se depisteaza la o simpla inspectie ochiometrica?
Astia zic de crankcase vent valve iar pe realoem este Pressure regulating valve! hm....

Se pare ca e boala de e46. Si al Mihaelei mele ii cam papa ulei si am vb cu un mecanic si a zis ca e normal sa-l consume si sa nu bag ulei ulei mai gros decat cel recomandat. Nu stiu ce sa mai zic, pana la urma trebuie sa-si vanda si uleiul. sad.gif Macar merge cu ulei proaspat.
