eu cand ma gandesc la masini acum , imi vin in minte clar 3 chestii : bmw ,mercedes si porsche. daca vine vorba de o colectie imaginara ar fi ceva in genul : e30m3 , un e30 325i orice caroserie (pt aia 6 cil pe urs pusi de fabrica ),e21 323i ,e24 635csi , e34 540i manual(break ar fi vis) , mercedes w126 coupe , mercedes w140 s500 s600 , mercedes w124 e500, mercedes sl pagode , porsche 911 turbo 993 , porsche 928 gts , un land cruiser de scandal , un vw g1 gti pentru mers in oras , si poate o nenorocire tip Radical sau Ariel atom sa scot toti dracii din mine cam lunga lista cam devreme ca si ora LE: si un e28 m535i sau m5 la colectia imaginara.neaparat! un Golf 1 GTI pentru distractie, un W126 pentru concedii, si un Studabaker Sedan pentru duminicile insorite. Asta ar fi linia 1.
Linia 2 ar incepe cu un Renault 25 GTX, care nu s-ar misca din loc, doar as sta in el, parcat, cu motorul pornit si tot bordul aprins - masina asta mi-a ramas mie in suflet de cand eram mic; ar continua cu un e30 325 coupe - obligatoriu, si s-ar incheia cu un Wrangler. Masinile renumite s-au cam luat. Totusi a mai ramas ceva... Land Rover Defender TD5, daca nu cumva chiar Series (Camel Trophy... cineva ...?). Si ca sa nu fie impar garajul ar merge si un BMW M1 in living.

nu era baccara, era un 25 GTX 2.2 benzina, cu sistemul audio premium (poza pusa de tine e cu Philipsul care l-am avut si eu pe masina, 8 difuzoare conectate la el), computerul de bord vorbitor (vorbea in germana ala care l-am avut in familie), din pacate nu avea piele, dar bordul era din plus (plush) , era o nebunie de masina prin anul '93 cand a intrat la noi in familie, probabil de aici si fascinatia mea pentru ea. plus ca tot ce se putea masura sau monitoriza cu senzori iti era vorbit in germana. Imi amintesc si acum un banner mare pe care l-am vazut, ani mai tarziu, la cineva in casa: "we were speeding along in total safety" si aici s-a terminat experienta mea placuta cu Renaultul. -------------------- Cash only, no I will not trade + cash for your ETA, nor do I want any wheels, ex girlfriends, puppies, or sexual favors....well maybe but PM me about that one

O alta masina care a inceput sa ma fascineze este:
Bugatti Type 41 / Royale Are o istorie interesanta iar ceea ce a facut a doua jumatate a anilor '20 dl. Ettore este grandios din toate punctele de vedere. Cred ca a fost printre primele mari tepe din industria auto / "marea depresie" i-a incurcat planurile: masina trebuia sa fie construita in 35 de exemplare si vanduta numai caselor regale; evident ca a fost nevoit sa faca rabat de la aceasta regula. S-au construit in total 6 masini cu caroserii diferite; pretul era dublu fata de al unui Rolls (30k USD). S-au vandut 3 masini, o a patra a fost carosata de fiul lui Ettore iar doua au fost zidite in timpul celui de-al doilea razboi mondial la resedinta Bugatti. Din cauza aceluiasi razboi, una din cele doua masini zidite nu a mai ajuns in ROMANIA, fiind comandata de casa regala (singura comanda conform dorintei constructorului). Alta comanda din partea unei case regale venea din Albania dar s-a refuzat onorarea acesteia deoarece regele "avea obiceiuri incredibil de nepotrivite cand servea masa" N-am spus nimic despre datele tehnice. Un motor "downsized" de la 15l (prototipul) la 12.7l, 8cilindri in linie, aproape 300 cp @ 1800 rpm 24 de motoare ramase care n-au mai ajuns sa echipeze masini au fost puse pe locomotive care au rulat in Franta pana in anii '60 si au stabilit diverse recorduri.
